
SHOP POLICY
Once and order is placed with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Upon order you will receive an acknowledgement email with confirmation that your order has been received. All orders are subject to receipt of full payment. Payment is accepted via Paypal, Wix Pay or Clearpay.
POSTAGE PACKAGING AND DELIVERY
All items are hand wrapped in tissue paper and packaged securely. Items to UK addresses are sent via either Royal Mail or courier tracked services. You will be notified by email once your order has been dispatched, where you will also find the tracking number for your parcel. Customers outside of the UK are responsible for any custom charges.
SIZING
Before placing your order please be careful to check product size information we are not at fault if the items are too big/small. There is no such thing as a standard size for example a 12m bodysuit from Babidu may differ to a 12m Bodysuit from Next. On every product there is accurate sizing information for that item this will give you the information you need to decide on the size you wish to order that product in.
RETURNS/REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
Cancellations: You can cancel your order within 2 hours of ordering. We do not accept returns on any items. Please email sales@dottydaydreams.co.uk with your order number.
Returns: Our goal is one hundred percent customer satisfaction, as we provide personalised goods and made to order items, we cannot accept returns unless we have made a mistake, or the garment is faulty.
Faulty Items: We recommend that our customers inspect their items upon delivery. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt to inform us of any errors or faults. Items must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery and a replacement will be sent once we receive them. A return postage cost of up to £3.00 will be refunded. We are not responsible for any issues following incorrect care for your garments, please be aware The Distance Selling Regulations Act of 2000 does not apply to “personalised goods or goods made to a consumer’s specification”.
Exchanges - We do not offer exchanges as all items are made to order.
Delivery Times: All our items are made to order you should check our home page for current turnaround times as these are subject to change during busy periods. Please ensure you leave enough time for delivery when ordering. Turnaround times do not include delivery times. Please note that we can only guarantee dispatch dates and NOT delivery dates. We cannot be responsible for any delays once your parcel leaves us. Please contact us when your item is 14 working days late.
Delayed or Lost Orders: A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 14 business days for UK orders and 25 business days for international orders. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders normally take much less than that we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period has elapsed. Missing Parcels will be replaced and not refunded. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide a full and correct delivery address. Any missing parcels due to incorrect/incomplete details will not be replaced. If items are to be resent due to address errors, a second postage charge will incur.
Ordering outside of the UK: Buyers are responsible for all import/customs taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for any customs delays or postage costs lost due to unpaid customs. If your items are returned to us due to missed customs payments/delivery/collection, items will not be refunded, and a second postage charge will incur.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please be sure to take note of our recommended washing instructions. To keep your items looking their best, we recommend washing inside out, with similar colours, on a low wash (30 degrees or less). Hang to dry, do not tumble dry. Do not leave damp before or after washing. Warm iron with a damp clothing on top of embroidery.
We cannot guarantee colour fastness on any of the goods. Every effort has been made at the manufacture stage to minimise colour fastness. We have also carried out our own testing and found that no shrinkages, colour runs or bobbling occurs when following the recommended wash care instructions. Every effort by you needs to be made to follow the wash care instructions provided for the specific garment. Wash care instructions are given to minimise the issue, we are unable to prove how the item is washed by you, therefore, we cannot be held responsible for these issues and a replacement/refund will not be issued for any washing queries.
